I suggest combing through your cat's fur with a cat brush to gently remove shredded hair that is still attached, just be gentle and do not pull at the fur. If that doesn't work, you can bathe her or take her to a professional groomer.

Try warming your dog up to a friend. Show the friend affection, like hugging or cuddling. Then the dog will realize that other people are to be treated nicely.

For starters, give your dog a bath if you haven't already. Make sure you use warm water. Small touches like a nice, colorful collar with a bow or some other decoration can make a difference in a dog's appearance.

Give your pet proper food, water and shelter, take him to the vet when needed and give him plenty of love and exercise.
