Having a pet is rewarding, but it can be hard work as well. If you are well prepared, do your research, and love your pet unconditionally, caring for a pet doesn't have to be back-breaking.

I suggest combing through your cat's fur with a cat brush to gently remove shredded hair that is still attached, just be gentle and do not pull at the fur. If that doesn't work, you can bathe her or take her to a professional groomer.

For starters, give your dog a bath if you haven't already. Make sure you use warm water. Small touches like a nice, colorful collar with a bow or some other decoration can make a difference in a dog's appearance.
